To get a picture to show up for me as a thumbnail.Edited to add....Yay! It worked.....Don't know what I was doing wrong....................everything, I guess!
I just wanted to share with you the wool that I bought from Alice (A Day in the Life) at the Spirit of Friends show last weekend.
It was so hard to decide, Alice has the best selection of the most beautiful wool I have ever seen. She and her husband are the nicest people too!

And, since it is Wednesday,
here is something I have been working on. Not much to work on actually.
I have wanted a foot stool to match my furniture but they are so expensive. So, I found this stool at a flea market and used the fabric that I had for a head rest and stapled in on the stool.
Not exactly like the ones that match the furniture but it will serve the purpose for me.

Tomorrow I hope to finish my inside and outside fall decorating and I will post some pictures soon.
See you soon,
Linda
Hello…………again!
I am not even going to try and explain my tardiness in updating my blog.
So I am just going to start anew with a brand new Season…….Fall, my favorite, as it is with most of you out there.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like most of you we have had a very hot, dry Summer. I need to open up a tomato stand for all of the harvest we have had.
And, we still have many more green ones on the vines.
I think this has been the very best year ever for our tomatoes. I have canned and frozen them in the past but I just can’t seem to get motivated to that this year.
In a few months I will be wishing for a fresh Roma tomato.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to tell you that I have been reading all of the blogs on my list and have added many new ones all Summer long. Thanks to all of you faithful bloggers!
I have been working on setting up a Picture Trail. I always enjoy looking at them so I thought I would give it a try.
I’ll keep you posted how I am doing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everyone have a safe and happy Labor Day weekend and for those of you in the line of “HurricaneEarl’s” wrath……………..
Stay safe.
See you soon.
April is going by so quickly and once again I have more ideas of things I want to get done than I have time to do.
I have been on a real kick this Spring of
either use, pitch it or donate it.
So far I have taken bags of things to the Goodwill, Volunteers of America and now tomorrow the Kidney Foundation is coming for their share. That should be it for now.
I have been making some changes in the house, in a couple bedrooms and also redoing my laundry room, just got a new washer and dryer so might as well make some changes, right? And if I ever get those finished I will share some photos.
I can’t wait to get to the garden center to pick out flowers for this years window boxes. These are some photos of previous years.
I have lots to do in my Herb Garden as well.
I have to tell you that I so enjoy keeping up with all of your blogs.
So many of you inspire me with all of your talents.
I will be back again soon.
Linda
I thought I would look around and see how many Brown items that I could find and here are a few……………….
This was fun but then I got carried away! Can’t wait to see what the next color will be!
See you again soon.
Linda
And, it looks to be a pretty day again! The snow is melting from the yard and the temps are to be in the 40’s and perhaps higher this coming week!
This does make me happy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First, I want to say Welcome to several new followers to my blog. I am so glad you took the time to visit me.
I really do have some fun things for show and tell that I want to blog about this week.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have several ideas running through my head
(At the oddest hours of the day, I might add) of things I wish to share with you.
It’s just a matter of putting fingers to the key board and hopefully I will get it together this week.
What a pleasant surprise I had yesterday when arriving at North Shore Primitives in Washington Court House, OH.
I saw Lisa of Prims from Above unloading her car of her handmade signs.
I just knew it was Lisa and her Mom. They are just as I had assumed, very sweet and friendly.
No wonder Lisa raves about this shop, it is wonderful! I haven’t been there since Vickie took over as owner and oh, my, do I love it there.
I did as much spending as I could very quickly but I need to return soon.
The selection of wovens was the most I have seen. Here are some that I bought…….
The selection of greenery was unbelievable. I picked this bundle of boxwood up but as soon as I left the parking lot I knew that I needed MORE!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lisa and I talked about how fun it would be to meet up with some other bloggers who would be interested. We will have to all think about this for possibly this Summer or Fall.

I have some little pots to plant with some rye grass seeds and some Spring decorating to do so I will close for now but will see you soon.
Linda
Gee..I have been gone a long time. About the time of my last post I was starting to feel like a cold was coming on…………….well it came alright! I can’t even remember when I last had a head cold but this was a doozy. I can almost pinpoint where I caught it too. Either at the one trip I had made to the grocery store that week or at a funeral we attended.
No matter what a cold takes about 1 week to 10 days to run it’s course…….then no matter how conscientious I was about disinfecting everything in sight my DH now has it too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have just had a time getting back into a routine for some reason. I have worked on some cross stitch projects, sewed together some quilt patches and done some organizing but I must confess nothing is completely finished!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been visiting lots of blogs and have enjoyed reading about everyone’s projects and weather stories too.
I see that I have several new followers on my blog and I welcome you. I apologize for not being very active in my posting lately. I’ll have to remedy that. I do love seeing your names and pictures and love to read your comments.

Well, like many of you, we have had more than our fair share of snow this February. We got another 8+ inches yesterday and it is still snowing this morning.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday, as a little diversion we drove over to a nature center at a park near us to view the wildlife out the windows. They fill the feeders right when they open at noon and the birds come in huge flocks as well as the deer.
The bright light is the reflection of my flash.
I have never seen so many Cardinals as I did yesterday.
No bench sitting on this day.
I am about ready to put this little cutie away for the year!
So far this past week I have made a berry cobbler, chocolate chip cookies and now today I am going to make some banana bread.
There is just something about baking that goes with snowy days!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been taking some photos of a few of my collections and I will post again soon with some pictures to show you.
Until then…………stay warm and safe!
Linda
Or in my case today, it was the Postmistress.
My box arrived from Barbara at
Quaint and Plain today.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Every little package was wrapped so sweetly.
I was just savoring each little item that I opened slowly,
But then, each one was better than the last and I couldn’t wait, I had to tear into all of them!
Just look at my treasures…….
the cutest little crow clay dish,
Little homespun hearts
A sweet little bird make do on a wooden spool
Little bundles of fabric….old quilt swatches, homespun in the best old shades of blue and brown, and the softest bundle of wool.
Plus, two little blackened beeswax hearts
Thank you so much Barbara.
What a perfectly prim surprise that made my heart flutter.
Hugs across the miles,
Linda
